Oats and dates dessert

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup of Hanaa Whole Grain Traditional Oats

    • 1 1/2 cups dates

    • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey, optional

    • Roasted nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews, hazelnuts)

    • Sesame

    • Pumpkin and sunflower seeds (optional)

    • chia seeds

    • 1 tbsp of cinnamon

    • 1 tbsp crushed cardamom

    • 1 tsp of salt

    • Hot water

PREPARATION

Put the dates in hot water for 10 minutes, then remove the water and mix until it becomes a smooth paste Roast the oats and grind them a little In a pan, put the date paste and stir it until it dries out of liquids, then put the cinnamon and cardamom Add the toasted nuts, ground oats and maple syrup Mix well until the mixture is smooth Spread it on a tray on baking paper and leave it for half an hour to cool and cut into bars
