Kofta oats

INGREDIENTS

    • 1 ¼ cup Hanaa Whole Grain Oats 

    • 500 g Ground meat

    • 1 Onion, minced

    • 2 Garlic cloves, minced

    • ¼ cup Fresh parsley, chopped

    • Salt

    • 1 tsp Black pepper

    • A pinch of Mixed Spices 

    • 1/3 cup Water

PREPARATION

  1. Mix the meat, onions, garlic, salt, black pepper, parsley and Mixed Spices until fully combined.

  2. Start adding the oats, little at a time, and then add some water to incorporate. You may need less or more water according to the mix.

  3. Spread it in a non-stick pan or shape it like an oval.

  4. Put it in a preheated oven, for approximately 40 minutes and check on it. If it needs more time to get that beautiful colour, keep it there, but keep checking on it. (It must get that luscious brown colour on both sides).

  5. Enjoy it with some Hummus, mayo, ketchup, tahini sauce (your choice).
