Shish barak Soup with Tomatoes

INGREDIENTS

    • ½ can PEELED TOMATOES FROM HANAA, diced

    • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes from Hana (You can try plain, tomatoes with onions, or tomatoes with onions and garlic)

    • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

    • 1 cup Fresh thyme, chopped

    • 1 tsp White pepper

    • 2 cubes Chicken stock cubes

    • ½ cup Hot Water

    • 500 g Ready-made shish barak

PREPARATION

  1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan and add the Peeled Tomato, Chopped Tomatoes with onion and garlic from Hana, white pepper, half of the fresh thyme, Chicken stock cubes, and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for 10 mins.

  2. Meanwhile, bake the shish barak in a hot oven at 180°C for about 15 mins until they have a golden color.

  3. Gently add the shish barak to the tomato sauce. Garnish with the remaining fresh thyme. Serve
