Tuna steak with rice

INGREDIENTS

  • ·         2 Hanaa Gourmet Grilled Tuna Steak with Black Pepper

    ·         1 cup rice

    ·         2 cups water

    ·         3 cups fresh spinach

    ·         2 tsp lemon juice

    ·         2 tbsp oil

    ·         2 tbsp soy sauce

    ·         1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

    ·         1 clove garlic, minced

    ·         1 tsp lime juice

PREPARATION

 

Rice:

1.       In a medium sauce pan bring water to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 mins.

Spinach:

2.       In a fry pan on medium heat. place lemon juice and spinach. cover and steam for 5 mins.

Tuna:

3.       Mix the marinade ingredients together and coat the tuna steaks with the marinade, cover tightly, and refrigerate for at least an hour.

4.       Heat a non-stick skillet over medium high to high heat. When the pan is hot, remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and sear them for a minute to a minute and a half on each side.

5.       Remove from pan and slice into slices.
