Parmesan Cheese Meatballs
INGREDIENTS
• Parmesan cheese
• Fresh mozzarella cheese
Meatballs:
• 300g ground beef
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 egg
• 1 tbs italian seasoning
• 1/2 onio Handful parsley
• 2 tbs read crumbs
• 1 tbs orcestershire sauce
• Salt & black pepper
• Tomato Sauce:
• 1 Hanaa chopped tomatoes
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1/2 chopped onion
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tbs olive oil
• Salt & black pepper.
PREPARATION
Meatballs:
- Add all the ingredients in the food processor and pulse until well combined.
- Shape to golf size balls and refrigerate for 30 mins.
- Heat a heavy pan and add some 1 tbs olive oil. Once the pan is hot, add the meatballs.
- Cook for 3 mins without moving. Then start moving your meatballs around for another 3 mins to be browned and cooked from all sides.
Sauce:
- In a sauce pan over medium to low heat, add the olive oil & onion & sweat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 mins.
- Add Hanaa chopped tomatoes, water, and seasoning.
- Let it cook for 20 mins until the sauce has thickened.
- Pour the sauce in a cast iron pan then place the meatballs.
- Grate some parmesan cheese and sprinkle some fresh mozzarella on top.
- Broil in the oven until the cheese melts completely.
- Serve with pasta.
