Parmesan Cheese Meatballs

INGREDIENTS

  • •       Parmesan cheese

    •       Fresh mozzarella cheese

    Meatballs:

    •       300g ground beef

    •       2 garlic cloves

    •       1 egg

    •       1 tbs italian seasoning

    •       1/2 onio Handful parsley

    •       2 tbs read crumbs

    •       1 tbs orcestershire sauce

    •       Salt & black pepper

    •       Tomato Sauce:

    •       1 Hanaa chopped tomatoes

    •       2 garlic cloves

    •       1/2 chopped onion

    •       1/2 cup water

    •       1 tbs olive oil

    •       Salt & black pepper.

     

PREPARATION

Meatballs:

  1. Add all the ingredients in the food processor and pulse until well combined.
  2. Shape to golf size balls and refrigerate for 30 mins.
  3. Heat a heavy pan and add some 1 tbs olive oil. Once the pan is hot, add the meatballs.
  4. Cook for 3 mins without moving. Then start moving your meatballs around for another 3 mins to be browned and cooked from all sides.

Sauce:

  1. In a sauce pan over medium to low heat, add the olive oil & onion & sweat.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for 30 mins.
  3. Add Hanaa chopped tomatoes, water, and seasoning.
  4. Let it cook for 20 mins until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Pour the sauce in a cast iron pan then place the meatballs.
  6. Grate some parmesan cheese and sprinkle some fresh mozzarella on top.
  7. Broil in the oven until the cheese melts completely.
  8. Serve with pasta.
